Dr. Alexis Colvin, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, was interviewed by the Tennis Channel’s Brett Haber and Jon Wertheim on Live at the US Open. Dr. Colvin discussed injuries to professional and club tennis players, such as wrist injuries and tennis elbow, and how to prevent injuries. Dr. Colvin is the Chief Medical Officer for the United States Tennis Association and serves as the team physician for the US Women’s Fed Cup team and as a physician at the US Open.
