Jane Wells, producer and cowriter of Tricked and The Devil Came on Horseback, recently showed her latest documentary, A Different American Dream, at the Margaret Mead Film Festival at the American Museum of Natural History. The film explores the rich cultures of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara tribes (MHA Nation), while also highlighting the injustices faced by these communities as their land is exploited by oil fracking.
