The Amalgamated Transit Union is the oldest and largest organization representing transit workers in North America. ATU’s 190,000 members include metropolitan, interstate and school bus drivers; paratransit, light rail, subway, streetcar and ferry boat operators; mechanics and other maintenance workers; clerks, baggage handlers, municipal employees and others. The TASC Group managed a media campaign around organizing drivers in New York City who work for ride hail apps, such as Uber and Lyft, securing coverage in national and local media outlets.

The American Center for Democracy is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to fighting terrorism from a financing point of view. TASC generated media attention for a campaign to educate Americans about the threat of “libel tourism,” an effort to sue Americans abroad and undermine free speech here in this country.

Arms Around the Child is a charity concert to raise funds to help children with AIDS in Africa. TASC ran the red carpet and generated dozens of major media hits.

ACE is an innovative homeless organization that TASC worked with to garner media attention for their community-based initiatives.

ATEST is a coalition of human trafficking and anti-slavery organizations here in the US. TASC generated national media attention for the coalition and the issues it tackles.

Athlete Ally and All Out are advocacy nonprofits that work to promote LGBTQ rights here in the U.S. and around the world. TASC helped both groups launch the Principle 6 Campaign (P6). P6’s mission was to change the International Olympic Committee’s policy concerning choosing host countries. P6 focused on the Winter Olympic games in Sochi, Russia, and featured 53 Olympic athletes. TASC won a Big Apple Award from the Public Relations Society of America New York Chapter for Best Global Communications Campaign for our work.

Audible is the world’s largest producer and distributor of audiobook content. TASC worked to generate national media attention in order to mainstream their brand, especially around Audible’s original content.

Baruch College is a senior college in the City University of New York (CUNY) with a student body that represents 168 countries and 130 spoken languages. The TASC Group worked with the College around the announcement of a $30 million gift for the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, helping to raise awareness and elevate the school’s reputation.

BSRC is the nation’s first community development corporation founded over 50 years ago by Senators Robert F. Kennedy and Jacob Javits. TASC has built a thought leadership platform in the media for BSRC’s CEO Colvin Grannum and the organization.

BPeace is an innovative organization dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs in war-torn regions of the world. TASC helped them host a successful gala.

Bread for the World is the country’s largest advocacy and lobbying group on issues involving hunger. TASC helped position the group as a thought leader in the media and helped to promote their annual New York galas.

TASC helped the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl winning linebacker, Brendon Ayanbadejo, become a national spokesperson in the media to advocate for LGBTQ rights in sports. Brendon worked with the NFL to help players support their LBGTQ brothers in the locker room.

Carl Andrew & Associates is a company run by former State Senator Carl Andrews. TASC generated media coverage for Carl Andrews’ campaign for United States Congress.

The Center for Social Inclusion works to catalyze communities, government and other institutions to dismantle structural racial inequity and create equitable outcomes for all. The TASC Group developed a robust thought leadership platform for former President Maya Wiley and promoted reports on broadband access and transportation inequity in low income communities across the country.

Childhood Domestic Violence Association is the largest domestic violence advocacy group that focuses on children who live in homes where domestic violence is present. TASC helped their founder Brian Martin get a book deal, generate media coverage for the organization and cause, and helped forge a partnership with UNICEF USA.

CESA, managed by CEG, is a national nonprofit coalition of state and municipal clean energy funds working with federal, regional, industry and other stakeholders to promote clean energy markets and technologies. TASC positioned CEG as a thought leader on clean energy development. TASC also generated media for CESA in order to promote their clean energy coalition.

Climate and Energy Project is a Kansas-based wind advocacy group that assisted in turning Kansas into a major player in wind energy. TASC elevated this group and its leader, Nancy Jackson, into the national media concerning wind power and clean energy.

Concerned Citizens of Montclair is a local grassroots group founded by citizens of Montclair, New Jersey to educate the community about rising taxes and town debt. TASC helped found the organization and acted as a local spokesperson.

The David Lynch Foundation provides training in Transcendental Meditation, an evidence-based meditation technique, to at-risk communities including veterans with PTSD, victims of domestic violence and children. The TASC Group has promoted the Foundation’s programmatic work in the media and established Bob Roth, Executive Director of the Foundation, as a thought leader on meditation and stress.

The Discovery Orchestra® is a classical music education organization that works to teach active listening skills and experience classical music. TASC worked with Discovery Orchestra to garner media attention around their unique methodology, programming and community outreach work.

Duck is a film by director-writer-producer Nic Bettauer starring Phillip Baker Hall. TASC promoted the opening of the film and its national distribution.

The Save Darfur Coalition is an advocacy group that called to raise public awareness and mobilize a massive response to the atrocities in Sudan’s western region of Darfur. TASC worked to generate media attention for the Darfur crisis taking place at the time.

Farm Sanctuary is led by Gene Baur, one of the nation’s most respected animal farm activists. TASC worked to promote and generate coverage for animal rights and educate the public about the abuses at animal farm factories.

Global Business Coalition Against Trafficking is a coalition of leading Fortune 500 companies whose mission is to help businesses around the world fight human trafficking. TASC helped them launch their campaign in the media.

The Global Fund for Children is a children’s rights advocacy group that pioneered a unique model to develop children’s books that support children’s programs in the third world. Hip Hop Soda Shops is the first-of-its-kind series of themed restaurants promoting Hip Hop culture and music which is endorsed by major rap and hip hop stars. TASC managed red carpet media and generated media coverage for restaurant openings throughout the country.

Hip Hop Summit Action Network is a hip hop advocacy nonprofit founded by Russell Simmons and Dr. Ben Chavis, whose mission is to utilize rap and hip hop stars to reach young people and deliver financial literacy initiatives in the community. TASC created messaging and generated media attention for the organization.

Hyperbolic Creative is a radio advertising agency providing creative and production services for clients nationwide. TASC helped create media coverage for a new radio advertising firm.

Erica Ford / I Love My Life Tour runs a youth anti-gang initiative in NYC. TASC took Erica Ford, Russell Simmons and LL Cool J to Rikers Island to work with young, incarcerated men. TASC generated national media coverage for the program.

ICNA Relief is Muslim American charity that provides services and volunteers for disasters nationwide like Hurricanes Sandy and Katrina. TASC helped get media attention for their work.

The International March of the Living is an annual educational program that brings individuals from all over the world to Poland and Israel in order to study the history of the Holocaust and examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hate. ICNA is the country’s largest advocacy organization for Muslim Americans. They function as a civil rights group. TASC helped ICNA create a national media campaign to promote religious understanding and tolerance.

Jasmine Rand is a prominent civil rights lawyer who was part of the Trayvon Martin legal team. TASC placed her on national TV as a spokesperson for the Trayvon Martin legal team and other civil rights issues.

Jeffrey Deskovic started his foundation after serving a 17-year sentence behind bars for a murder he did not commit. The foundation works on educating the public about criminal justice reform issues. TASC turned Deskovic into a national thought leader and spokesman in the media on these issues.

Life Project for Africa is an organization dedicated to raising funds for development projects in Africa. TASC generated media attention for their gala.

The Lower East Side Service Center is a homeless advocacy organization in New York City. TASC worked to generate media coverage for their programs and initiatives.


Maharishi Foundation USA Inc.

The Maharishi Foundation USA is a Transcendental Meditation organization with 250 TM centers across the country. TASC helped to train their regional leaders on how to attract local grassroots media attention.

TASC worked with actor Matt Dillon to promote the work of Refugees International where Dillon sits on the board.

TASC worked with Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino on human trafficking issues and helped her present a speech on trafficking to the United Nations.

TASC was the Montclair Film Festival’s inaugural PR firm. TASC generated major media attention and helped them get the initial recognition they needed to grow. TASC is still on their board.

Montclair State University is a state-funded university located in Northern New Jersey. TASC conducted and developed a crisis communications assessment and plan for the university and has worked with the media to manage and help mitigate crisis issues that have occurred.

NJAMF launched a memorial to the Japanese Americans who were unlawfully interned in camps during World War II. NJAMF also advocates for religious and ethnic tolerance across the country. TASC worked to promote and generate coverage for the memorial in Washington, D.C. and for a variety of civil rights and social justice issues that the foundation has worked on.

September is National Yoga Month, designed to educate about the health benefits of yoga and to inspire a healthy lifestyle. The TASC Group organized a promotional event for National Yoga Month at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO to educate the public on the benefits of yoga and promoted and secured media for the event.

TASC helped book major NBA sports celebrities and other stars for the New York State NAACP 100th anniversary convention.

New York Genome Center opened in 2014 to become the New York region’s largest genomic sequencing facility. TASC worked to turn their leadership and center into influential thought leaders on genomic science in the media.

NYLAG opened up the city’s first mobile law center designed to provide free legal advice for low income New Yorkers in need. TASC generated citywide media attention for the launch of this initiative.

New York Live Arts is a dance and arts center founded by iconic award-winning dancer and choreographer, Bill T. Jones. TASC helped launch NYLA news during the 2015-2016 seasons, promoted its Live Ideas Festival and created thought leadership media coverage for Jones.

New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts has trained hundreds of the world’s most renowned actors, filmmakers, playwrights, theater performers and artists of all genres. TASC manages media around the school’s annual fundraising gala.

Orbis International is a NGO dedicated to restoring blindness in the third world. Orbis flies retro-fitted, wide-body commercial passenger jets around the world with eye surgeons on board to perform surgeries. TASC generated media coverage for their executive team and board chairman Richard Branson.

Parks & Crump Law Firm is a law firm that TASC helped promote as well as place Ben Crump, famous civil rights lawyer, on national cable and TV shows promoting the causes and cases he has worked on.

PSG is one of Washington, D.C.’s most influential government relations firms. TASC helped founder Lamell McMorris get media coverage for his thought leadership and extensive civil rights and business background.

PUTT is a coalition of independent pharmacists and pharmacy owners dedicated to exposing widespread abuse and manipulation by pharmacy benefit managers. TASC launched a brand new advocacy campaign made up of over 100 independent pharmacies in order to educate the public. Within three months of launching the campaign, TASC generated national media attention for PUTT and positioned them as a national voice on these critical issues facing independent drug stores.

The TASC Group’s work has focused on drawing attention to the Studio’s Outreach programming, including the Studio’s work bringing theater training to inmates at Rikers and other underserved populations.

The Eagle Academy for Young Men is a network of all-boys public schools located in New York City and Newark, NJ, dedicated to uplifting young men of color. The TASC Group has promoted individual schools in the network and the school’s model across the country and worked to elevate David C. Banks, CEO of the Eagle Academy Foundation, which runs the network of schools, as a thought leader on education and interventions for young men of color.

The F.A.C.E. of Childhood Hunger in a non-profit organization addressing childhood food insecurity in South Florida’s most underserved communities. The Trayvon Martin Foundation was created in memory of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year old young Black man who was killed by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer. TASC managed crisis communications and media relations for the Trayvon Martin Foundation and Trayvon’s family and their legal team throughout the duration of the George Zimmerman murder trial.

Tricked is an award-winning documentary on human trafficking produced by Jane Wells and her nonprofit organization, 3 Generations. TASC won a Big Apple Award for Best Public Service Campaign from the Public Relations Society of America for our work promoting and generating media coverage for the film and the issue.

The United Way of New York City is the oldest and largest United Way in the country. The UWNYC’s CEO and President Sheena Wright is their first woman leader. UWNYC advocates on behalf of low income families in NYC. TASC has placed stories in the media on their work and has positioned Sheena as a major thought leader locally and nationally for issues that affect poor families.

The Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the creation of a memorial in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. TASC was hired by Tommy Hilfiger, Russell Simmons and the memorial to help manage a $5 million charity concert at Radio City Music Hall featuring artists such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Robin Thicke, Wyclef Jean, Kerry Washington and Garth Brooks, to name only a few. TASC managed the red carpet media, pre- and post-media coverage and the fundraising operation.

The DCPS is one of the largest urban public school systems in the nation. TASC helped manage their reputation in the media and positioned the then Superintendent Cliff Janey as a national educational thought leader in the news.
