Since its founding in 1949, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting has grown into one of the most famous acting schools in the world—training thousands of actors, many of whom have had iconic careers. Stella Adler was dedicated to preserving and expanding the highest level of art in the theatre and developing the artist as a person.
We were hired to increase media attention for the Studio’s ongoing series of arts programs and, in particular, the Outreach Division, which provides free high-level actor training to low-income teens who do not have arts programs at their schools. Outreach upholds a Studio’s core principle that the arts should be accessible to all, that great artists can be found anywhere, and that artists should be involved in their communities.
Over the years we have generated hundreds of media hits and millions of media impressions in national and international outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, WNYC, Entertainment Tonight and ABC News. Compelling stories we have told include the success and growth of the Outreach program, noteworthy student and Off-Broadway productions, and the studio’s annual gala, Stella By Starlight.
